  • What is the evidence, application and how do I use this for people with depression, anxiety and stress related disorders, serious mental illnesses such as schizophrenia spectrum, eating disorders

  • When is exercise not suitable?

  • What motivation and behaviour strategies can I use?

  • What is the broader role of lifestyle psychiatry (e.g. nutrition, reducing harmful substance) in supporting people with mental illness?

  • How can I measure what matters and show my interventions are working?

  • Who is the course for?
    Any professional (e.g. Physio, allied health professional, exercise professional) wanting to be upskilled in supporting their clients with their mental health through exercise and behaviour change interventions.
  • What are the course entry requirements?
    No formal entry requirements. However, it is recommended that people are educated to a degree level in their field and/or have comparative practical experience in supporting people with their exercise or mental health.
  • How long does this course take?
    If you take the course full time (i.e. 09:00 - 17:00) you can complete this in two days. However, the course can be completed in smaller modules at your own pace.
  • How long will I have access to the course?
    You will have lifetime access to the course.
  • Is there an assessment?
    At the end of each module, there is an assessment to review the learning outcomes.
  • Will I get a continued professional development (CPD) certificate?
    Yes, upon completion you will be given a continued professional development (CPD) certificate.
  • Will I receive documents of the course content?
    Yes, you will receive full copies of the course material.
  • Will I get a receipt to reclaim tax relief for my training?
